Craft time- they made door hangers. They are on the outsides of their door upstairs. Jack made a Star Wars themed one and Drew's was Superheroes.

I have to say, the day started out kind of awful. The kids got into a full on fight at the grocery store and have been banned from the car shopping carts. They were much better behaved with a girl around! No fighting at all.
Yeah, Jack looks smitten (and always trying to be close to Violette)...he does seem to like the ladies. Do you think he's learned to model me a bit since I've been so affectionate towards you this year? I know he was paying more attention to me in the last few months and as I recall I was very often loving on you...Drew on the other hand is a full-fledged Momma's boy...so don't worry, it'll be a while before he has eyes for any other women...:)

I think Jack may be modeling you a bit. He definitely seems to like it that we are affectionate. :)
ReplyDeleteyeah some times I catch him watching us kissing and/or holding each other in the kitchen, etc...and then he gives me that sly/coy smile, yeah I think he likes it when we're together...i know i do.

my mom told me the story of how jack told her when she was tucking him in that "daddy always lays here with me until i fall asleep", now that's not completely true, but i do often lay there with him in his bed for several minutes while he calms down and yawns his way into getting sleepy..I got kinda choked up when she relayed that story to me via email...i miss him so much, and i'm not sure skype is working too well to connect with him...let me know if you think of any other ideas.
